Jalbun is a village in the eastern part of Jenin governorate, about 12 km east of the city.
It is known for grain and pulses, but an estimated 8,000 dunams — mostly olive groves — were seized by the occupation. The village has two schools, for boys and girls, up to secondary level, and a village council.
The population was 2,493 in mid-2006 and 2,813 in 2017, and its primary healthcare facilities are rated level 2 by the Ministry of Health.
