A village in the Nablus governorate 12 km south-west of the city at 580-850 m above sea level, with 4,064 dunams of land.

Urif stayed under Israeli occupation after 1967 until the Oslo agreement in 1993, after which it came under the Palestinian Authority. About 350 of its dunams are built-up.
