Tell lies south-west of Nablus with 13,776 dunams of land, surrounded by Rafidia, Sarra, Iraq Burin, Madama, Asira al-Qibliya, Zeita, Far'ata, Jit, Immatin and Al-Junayd.
In January 2016 the Palestinian cabinet separated the hamlet of Iraq Burin administratively from Tell and created an independent village council for it.
