Story of Qaryut: a village in the heart of Nablus countryside

A village in the Nablus governorate occupied in 1967 with 2,469 residents in 2006; the hamlet of Jalud was separated administratively in 2016.

Qaryut depends on olives, farming and livestock. In January 2016 the Palestinian cabinet created an independent village council for the hamlet of Jalud.
