Story of Iraq Burin: a hamlet that gained its own council in 2016

A Palestinian village in the Nablus governorate in the northern West Bank, occupied in 1967.

Iraq Burin was part of the Tell municipality until January 2016, when the Palestinian cabinet separated it administratively and created an independent village council. Its people depend on farming and olives.
